3 Hours, 17 Minutes and 40 Seconds


That's how long it took our own David Michaels to complete this year's Nautica New York City Triathalon. He swam 1,500 meters in the Hudson River, biked 40 kilometers up the West Side Highway and ran 10 kilometers through Central Park (course map here).

Needless to say, everyone here at Sales Graphics is incredibly proud of David for completing this—although we're still not sure why he did it. He says he was roped into it by one of our clients at Allure Magazine, but I'm not sure if that's a good enough reason to put oneself through 3 hours of grueling physical punishment like that.

Regardless of the reason, he did it and set the bar pretty high for the rest of us. So now I can't wait to see what else he and the rest of the folks here at Sales Graphics decide to accomplish!

Comcast Sports Group Scores with CustomShow and Sales Graphics

Comcast Sports Group, Comcast's 10 regional sports networks, has already put points on the board for 2009 by signing up with Sales Graphics to provide CustomShow Presentation software to its national sales team. Using CustomShow's powerful presentation creation and management system, Comcast Sports Group will be hitting home runs all year long with great presentations that are always up-to-date, accurate and exciting. With a nationwide sales force serving 10 regions, Comcast Sports Group needed a presentation solution that would allow them to manage and control sales materials effectively across the country. PC America Launches Cash Register Express Online Demo


PC America, creator of that software for restaurants and stores, released an online demo for their newest product, Cash Register Express. Working for the second time with Sales Graphics' DesignStudio, PC America created an online demo that walks store owners through all the benefits and features of their great new computerized management system. With great graphics, music and footage of the system in use, the online demo really gets the point across that Point-of-Sales systems can make all the difference for retail. And it even gets the point across in three languages - English, Spanish and French. Built in Flash and fully interactive, PC America's online demo for Cash Register Express makes their website a real point of sale for PC America!

In Bad Times, You Need To Do Things Better

According to Interbrand and BusinessWeek Magazine, during a recession brands need to spend harder to "not get distracted from their long-term brand-building efforts" or"to get a leg up on weakened rivals." However, the most important piece of advice from BusinessWeek's annual "Best Global Brands" article came from Martin Puris, the creator of BMW's "The Ultimate Driving Machine" campaign. "In good times, people are less apt to try new things. In bad times, they have to start to do things better."

Sales Graphics has been working with clients to help them do just that: sell better, present better, track better and manage better. With Sales Graphics' DesignStudio and CustomShow Software, our clients have access to better creative, better technology and better tracking and asset management. In good times, those are good things to have. But in bad times, they're necessities.
