Challenge

Bravo Media was planning what they referred to as a “Digital Roadshow” in September of 2009. They wanted to give their sales team a powerful, confidence-inducing tool for presenting, explaining, and selling Bravo's rich suite of digital capabilities.

Approach

The Sales Graphics Design Studio worked with Bravo to create a presentation that featured a set of detailed and engaging demo videos that explained even the most complicated digital opportunities in a clear and simple fashion. To accurately reflect the Bravo brand, our designers created a look and feel for the presentation slides that imitated television.

By subsequently providing their nationwide sales team with CustomShow® Lite, Bravo enabled their reps to automatically receive updates to presentation slides. Since CustomShow Lite does not include editing features, Bravo's marketing team was able to retain complete control over messaging consistency.

Results

The Digital Roadshow presentation allowed Bravo's salespeople to give advertisers a 360-degree picture of Bravo's digital products and opportunities. The fact that it was created in CustomShow made it especially easy to use and update quickly. Bravo has since decided to roll out the full version of CustomShow to their entire sales team, enabling their sales reps to quickly customize the kinds of high-quality presentations that will boost their confidence for any meeting. Bravo also asked Sales Graphics to create their 2010 Upfront Presentation, which takes full advantage of CustomShow's video and Flash functionality – not to mention its interactive navigation features.

But the biggest compliment of all is other NBC Universal properties are now turning to Sales Graphics' Design Team and CustomShow software for their own presentations.

Summary

Bravo turned to the Sales Graphics design team to build a compelling presentation that incorporated rich motion graphics and video to truly represent the brand's digital capabilities. They initially rolled a read-only version of our CustomShow software out to their sales team. Within three months they had upgraded to the full version of CustomShow, which enabled their salespeople to quickly customize high-quality presentations for any meeting. Based on Bravo's success, Sales Graphics is working with additional NBC Universal properties.
